Every Year we book Little Breakers for a friends get together and it is one of the highlights of our year; a weekend away surfing, relaxing, eating and drinking out, who wouldn't like that! Little Breakers is on the outskirts of Croyde as you come in to the village from Braunton, it has plenty of Parking and has easy access to the beach down a small path (opposite the first car park) which makes it very easy to off load equipment and get to the sea. Croyde is a lovely village and the surf can be excellent (too good for my group sometimes), to me it kind of feels like a how a Ski resort feels, but for surfing. The accommodation really suits our needs; It has a good size kitchen, recently updated and a large Dining/Living room that can be partitioned if needed. Plenty of seating for eating at the table or lounging on sofas watching the TV, chatting or playing cards etc. There is a good range of rooms with double and singles and overall 3 bathrooms which means there is never any big queues/delays when getting ready. The beds are comfy and you can hear the sea as you go to sleep at night. Jenny and Richard are excellent hosts, they accommodate us really well, leave towels and tea cloths etc and are on hand if you need anything or if you just want to have a natter about wave/wind conditions. I have previously asked my friends if they would consider staying elsewhere and they always reply "where would we find anything better than little breakers?. We love the fact that our phones lock in to the WiFi when we walk in the door and access to the beach is so quick. It is a home from home (with out having chores!). My only fear is that whilst you are reading this you too will want to book it and I wont be able to.
